Jelly Bag Cap

A kindergarden set in a woodland, an interesting position between trees and nature.

The siting of the building parts between the existing trees with a minimum distance of 2m was untertaken with great care. Compression of the ground was limited and the building was raised to let water reach the roots underneath.

• All main-rooms face south and towards the park.
• The kindergarten is open to the old peoples homes on the other side of the park creating a social interaction 
• Important features: niches in- and outdoor, protection vs. openess, individual vs. common
